Dr. Gengler arrives to UHD from City University of New York (CUNY) – York College, where he is serving as the Dean of its School of Business and Information Systems. During his time with CUNY, he was instrumental in developing a master’s program in Aviation Management and coordinated international partnerships with colleges in China. Previously, he served as the chair for the Department of Marketing and International Business for CUNY – Baruch College. He also has held teaching positions for esteemed institutions, such as Rutgers University and Clarkson University. Outside of academia, Dr. Gengler has served as a consultant to numerous companies.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Illinois-Urbana; a Master of Science in Marketing from the University of Texas-Dallas (UTD) and a Ph.D. in Management Science (Marketing) from UTD.
