About the Event:

With everyone talking about the rise in cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, with it skyrocketing to all-time highs, hearing new terms such as tokens, smart contracts, and decentralized finance, and how some countries are moving fast to explore adoption and integration whereas others, like China, have made sweeping moves to curtail mining and acceptance within its borders, we look to explore these topics and learn a little more of the growth and adoption of blockchain technology in the coming future.

About the Speaker:

Kevin Pasha is a Board Member of the World Affairs Council of Greater Houston. He has extensive experience in the wealth management industry, where he advises both retail and institutional clients. Kevin is a Marshall Memorial Fellow, representing the US to the European Union on matters related to Green Technology, Banking and Financial Stability, and NATO expansion. He was designated a Young Leader by the Council for the United States and Italy in 2013. Kevin has a bachelor’s degree from Baylor University, and a master’s degree from Harvard University, in addition to a graduate certificate in Fintech and Blockchain from Cornell.
