Global Connections is a business networking opportunity for our members and any career professionals in the Greater Houston area, who are interested in furthering their understanding of international events and issues as well as expanding their global connections.

Global Connections events are informal and emphasize discussion and dialogue in a community of like-minded career professionals. As a global city, Houston is the ideal location to develop international contacts and network with other professionals across the region.

About the speaker

Antony DSouza currently serves as a Senior Vice President and the Regional Manager of DNVGL, a foundation and a leading Classification Society that has offices in over 250 cities in 75+ countries around the world.  Antony leads DNV GL’s Maritime business in the Americas. Antony has more than 30 years of experience in leading major international companies and capital-intensive mega projects using his competence in business administration, engineering, project and operational management.

He has been recognized as a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Naval Architects, UK and the Institution of Engineers Australia.  He had served in various capacities in individual development and non-governmental organizations including World Affairs Council and has a greater interest in public service.
