Come enjoy the “Sport of Kings” and join the World Affairs Council of Greater Houston Young Professionals attend a polo match, dress our best, and network at the Houston Polo Club.

There will be a player parade, live music, and a champagne divot stomp at half time. Grab your tickets at Houston Polo Club tickets (and don’t forget to check the dress code)!

Choose Courtyard $35/adult ticket under the May 21 J. Talasek Homes Cup. Look for WAC YP committee members at the entrance wearing WAC name tags.

Parking Arrival time: 4:00 pm. No later then 4:30 pm. 

Dress attire: Strict dress code enforced. Spring/Business casual, no T-shirts or high heels.

About the Event

Polo is a dynamic sport with a glamorous past and an exciting future. Polo originated in 6^th century BCE and is played worldwide, believed to develop in Central Asia and formalized by the Persians. It is currently played in 77 countries and amateurs often play alongside professionals. The Houston Polo Club was founded to promote the sport, educate new and experienced players about the rules and their equine team mates as well as serve the community as a cultural attraction.
