About the event

Volunteering is the best chance to give something back to the community and make a difference to the people around you. It also provides opportunities to develop new skills or build on existing experience and knowledge.

Join our team of volunteers as we visit the Medical Bridges facilities and learn more about their mission in reducing the healthcare gap worldwide by procuring and distributing medical equipment and supplies to underserved communities. During this event, their staff will give us a tour of their workplace and we will take care of sorting donated medical supplies in preparation for shipment to developing countries. Supplies are sorted by type (form, fit, function) and quantity, and checked to ensure they meet requisite expiration dates. Staff members may assist in identifying products and answering questions. Dress code: Comfortable and closed-toe shoes are suggested.

NOTE: Medical Bridges will require proof of vaccination. Please provide vaccination card upon arrival.
