What’s Next for COVID-19 and Oil and Gas Geopolitics?

Professor Julian Cardenas will be discussing how the global pandemic of COVID-19 has upended transnational value chains in the energy sector and the way it has impacted the oil and gas industry.

As a professor of Diplomacy of Oil and Gas and Transnational Law at the University of Houston, Prof. Cardenas will approach these situations from the perspective of the balance of power between States and non-State actors, and indicators of production, consumption and oil and gas geopolitics, that help us to identify the energy market drivers throughout uncertain times.
