About The Event

Join the World Affairs Council of Greater Houston for a social evening focused on International Development and Humanitarian Aid.

What is International Development? International Development programs bring knowledge and resources to help communities and governments around the world as they work to end extreme poverty; support the advancement of human rights .

The event will have a guest expert who will be facilitating a discussion around international development and how to engage in ethical ways when doing humanitarian aid work. Students will have the opportunity to ask questions to learn about ways to get involved in their own community as leaders.

Please email our Education Department (edu@wachouston.org) for any questions about our education programs.
