Tackle this feat with your friends from WAC and climb Africa’s tallest peak, and the world’s tallest free standing mountain! Pack your bravery, strength, determination, and grit and join us as we lift each other up and conquer this majestic mountain. Be among the few to reach the summit of one of the 7 Natural Wonders of Africa, and a UNESCO World Heritage site. Set the goal, take the chance, and celebrate as you reach the roof of Africa! This once-in-a-lifetime hike up Africa’s famous Mount Kilimanjaro is an empowering and uplifting journey for travelers and hikers of all ages.

We will approach the legendary Kilimanjaro from the southwest and hike the popular Machame Route in seven nights. This timeframe allows for plenty of acclimatization time and a better chance of reaching the summit, the ultimate goal! Lush rainforest and Alpine moorland characterize this challenging trek. A private vehicle will take you to and from the mountain but the accommodations on the mountain on this ‘Basic’ category trip will be in tented camps – a true adventure!
