Biography
Shane Brewer is one of the newest staff additions to the World Affairs Council of Greater Houston. Shane accepted a position as a Education Coordinator for The Council in 2021. Previously, Shane worked for the Texas Southern University Department of Student Services and Recreation as an operations manager. Shane is a native Mississippian. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of Southern Mississippi in 2017. Shortly thereafter, Shane moved to Houston, Texas to pursue a master’s degree in Public Administration and Urban Development. Shane earned his master’s from Texas Southern University in 2020. In his spare time, Shane enjoys cooking, reading, attending athletic events, and enjoying the outdoors.
