Membership
Yes, logging in is required to access your membership benefits, register for events, and manage your account. You can log in using the email you used when you joined the Council.
If you’ve forgotten your password, simply click on the “Forgot Password” link on the login page. You’ll be prompted to enter your email address, and we’ll send you instructions on how to reset your password. If you need further assistance, please contact the membership team
No, the Council does not use member ID numbers or cards. We know who you are based on your email address associated with your membership contribution.
Your membership level is displayed in your account profile after logging in. You can also check more information about membership levels and benefits here. If you have any questions, please contact the membership team
Membership levels vary. Individual membership benefits are only available for one person. If you want to have more than one, please review all the membership levels and benefits here.

Students memberships are only available for students under 18 years old. You can join here, the education and membership department will get in touch to verify your student ID. If you have any questions, please contact the membership team
Members and non member under the age of 45 can participate in the Global Young Professional network. We encourage you to become a member and enjoy exclusive benefits. If you want to learn more the GYP, please contact the GYP team

Membership Contributions
Yes, the World Affairs Council of Greater Houston is 501(c)3 nonprofit organization (EIN # 76-0308253) and all contributions are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. See membership levels and deductions here.

Membership Renewal
You memberships automatically renews yearly. For further assistance please contact the membership team
No, renewing early will not cause you to lose any time on your current membership. Your renewal will extend your membership for another full term from the original expiration date.
If you continue to receive renewal notices after renewing, it may be due to a processing delay. Please allow a few days for our system to update. If the issue persists, contact the membership team
Event Registration
All members and non member need to log in to register for an event. If you forgot your password you can reset it here
If you are a member, depending on your membership level you can add guests and obtain the member rate.
If you membership does not have access to more than one person, you can add guest by purchasing non member tickets.

You can sign up to our general newsletter on the form at the end of the page.
You can select your preferred subscriptions on the forms at the Global Community page or the home page
You can unsubscribe by opening any of the Council’s email and going to the bottom of the page. Click on the unsubscribe button. If you need assistance, please contact the marketing team
