Featured Speaker: John F. Kirby

John F. Kirby is a retired U.S. Navy Rear Admiral and veteran public affairs official with more than three decades of service. He most recently served as White House National Security Communications Advisor, coordinating national security messaging for the Biden administration. Previously, he was Assistant to the Secretary of Defense for Public Affairs and the State Department’s Assistant Secretary and Spokesperson for Public Affairs. A former Pentagon Press Secretary and Navy Chief of Information, Kirby also served as an adjunct lecturer at Georgetown University and a military and diplomatic analyst for CNN. He holds a B.A. in History from the University of South Florida and an M.S. in International Relations from Troy State University.
