‘How to Survive Being Held at Gunpoint by the Gulf Cartel’ – Fmr. Supervisory Special Agent Daniel Fuentes – Federal Bureau of Investigation FBI

6:00 – 7:00 PM Wine Reception
7:00 – 8:00 PM Program with Fmr. SSA FBI Daniel Fuentes

Osiel Cardenas, the (sadistic) kingpin of the notorious Gulf Cartel and the founder of Los Zetas, has his gold-plated AK-47 aimed straight at you. Fifteen of his henchmen also have their assault rifles locked onto you. You are only half a mile from the U.S. border and only yards away from police headquarters. But this is of little use, some of the men pointing guns at your head are wearing police uniforms.

In a hail of profanity, Cardenas, better known as “El Mata Amigos” (‘The Friend-Killer’), demands that they will kill you now unless you surrender and come with them. But going with them will almost certainly only mean they have the opportunity to interrogate and torture you before they kill you. Or you can make your stand here in the street. This was the choice faced by FBI agent Daniel Fuentes.
