Ethan is the Council’s Director of Education, joining the organization in early 2023. He is passionate about education, working as an accomplished debate coach before helping revitalize the Council’s educational programing. Graduating from the University of Houston with a bachelor’s in economics and political science, Ethan’s focus is the intersection of ideology and economic history, especially as it relates to decolonization and West Africa. In his spare time, Ethan enjoys collecting maps, reading, and is an avid backpacker.
