The Global Houston Model UN Delegate Workshop Series is designed to equip students participating as delegates, with the essential skills like public speaking, resolution writing, coalition building, and parliamentary procedure. These workshops prepare all students, regardless of MUN experience, to excel on Conference Day.

Why Attend? While these workshops aren’t required to join the Spring Conference, they’re packed with tips, strategies, and support to make sure you’re set up for success. These are also a great opportunity to practice essential skills like diplomacy, negotiation, and public speaking in a supportive environment.
Workshop 2: Parliamentary Procedure – Thursday, Feb. 13
Understand the rules and structure of Model UN to participate like a pro.
Workshop 3: Argumentation, Resolutions, and Position Papers – Thursday, Feb. 27
Discover how to craft strong, persuasive arguments and create impactful resolutions, positions paper and argumentations.
Workshop 4: Coalition Building and Negotiation – Thursday, March 20
Master the art of diplomacy by forming alliances and negotiating effectively.
Workshop 5: Know Before You Go – Thursday, April 3
Receive final tips and strategies to be fully prepared for the Conference.
