A testament to the relationship between diplomacy and philanthropy, S. Javaid Anwar represents a life-long mission of dedication and service. Praised as “one of the most generous men I know” by President George W. Bush.
In Texas, his contributions have touched a variety of initiatives such as in education through his support of the University of Texas, and serving as a board member of the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board.
After Hurricane Harvey, Mr. Anwar generously contributed to the Greater Houston community in its efforts to rebuild. Additionally, the Javaid Anwar Mental Wellness Center in Houston speaks to his ground-breaking efforts to improve his community.
