Student World Affairs Council (SWAC)

Vibrant Cultures – Diverse Perspectives – Meaningful Experiences

 WHAT IS SWAC?

Student World Affairs Councils (SWACs) provide opportunities for high school students to engage at a local and global level by competing in trivia, meeting internationally-acclaimed speakers and preparing for future career goals.

Participants are eligible to receive World Affairs Council certificates, professional polos and graduation cords, and can attend World Affairs Council international affairs programming at a discounted rate.

Students and teachers representing Law and Justice High School, Elsik Ninth Grade Center, Sharpstown International High School and Episcopal High School chapters attend a breakfast with Lt. General Paul Funk, Commander III Corps and Commander of Fort Hood, in February of 2019. Students were also able to meet board member Sid McClendon, far left, who sponsored their attendance.
