Are you interested in learning about the relationship between your vote and the international affairs budget? Come to this exclusive event where the United States Global Leadership Coalition (USGLC) will delve into the pivotal role of international funds amidst pressing global events.

Engage in discussion with Kiersten Kullenberg, USGLC’s Southwest Outreach Director, who will dissect how the United States International Affairs budget, which is one percent of the total federal budget, is utilized in crisis zones like Israel and Ukraine. Gain insights into the intricate diplomacy, foreign aid, and strategic investments that play a crucial role in addressing these complex challenges.

In a pivotal year, we invite you to explore the impact of how your decision to vote can determine the future of the international affairs budget and what you can do to make an impact abroad.

About the speaker:

Kiersten Kullenberg is the Southwest Outreach Director for the U.S. Global Leadership Coalition (USGLC), overseeing the organization’s efforts across Texas, New Mexico, and Colorado. She first joined the Council’s staff in 2018 following an internship with the programs department.

A Dallas area native, Kiersten attended Louisiana State University where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in political science and international relations, with a minor in religious studies. Kiersten studied abroad in Morocco and was a proud member of The Golden Band From Tigerland. Kiersten is currently based in Dallas, TX.
