| What is the Global Scholars Academy?

The Global Scholars Academy is Houston’s premiere foreign affairs experience designed for high school students aged 13-19 who want to explore a world of possibilities and are interested in world affairs, international business, diplomacy, and more

GSA will be offered in person in four sessions during the months of June, July, and August. These sessions will take place across the Houston Area to best accommodate participants’ and parents’ travel. The program will take place Monday through Friday of each given session date.

Summer 2023 Session Dates:  

Session 1: June 26 – 30 • The Woodlands at Champion X Office: 2445 Technology Forest Blvd, The Woodlands, TX 77381

Session 2: July 10 – 14 • Houston at 1235 North Loop West Houston, TX 77008 

Session 3: July 17 – 21 • Houston at 1235 North Loop West Houston, TX 77008 

Session 4: July 31 – August 4 • Sugarland at Champion X Headquarters: 11177 South Stadium Dr. Sugarland, TX 77478

At Global Scholars Academy, we are committed to preparing students for success in a globalized world. Our program is dedicated to fostering a deeper understanding of global issues affecting society. Throughout the week, you will explore a variety of subject areas, from international law and foreign policy to global health and the environment. At the same time, you will get to meet and learn from individuals such as diplomats, academics, leaders, former agents  and ambassadors. GSA’s curriculum will challenge you to think critically about the nuance of global affairs, all while introducing cultural and social standards for citizens around the globe.
