About The Event

Canadian Consul General Rachel McCormick will discuss why the Canada-US relationship is more vital now, than ever, especially in a changing world and a global economy dramatically altered by the impacts of Covid-19. Canada has always been a key ally and partner for the US, and each nation is the top export destination for each other’s exports.

Consul General McCormick will address the key components and politics of the US-Canada relationship, along with areas of concern and the outlook for the future. She will also review the recent possible changes for USMCA (the ‘new NAFTA’) and the increased importance of energy cooperation between both nations.
