Global Connections: Stephanie Tsuru, Global Literacy Advocate and Founder of SheSpace
Global Connections is a business networking opportunity for our members and any career professionals in the Greater Houston area, who are interested in furthering their understanding of international events and issues as well as expanding their global connections.
Global Connections events are informal and emphasize discussion and dialogue in a community of like-minded career professionals. As a global city, Houston is the ideal location to develop international contacts and network with other professionals across the region.
About the speaker
Stephanie Tsuru moved to Houston in 2006 and immediately immersed herself into the community. At Yellowstone Academy and Star of Hope Mission, she focuses on literacy. Stephanie champions the Star of Hope GED program and was named Chief Literacy Advocate. She was president of the Yellowstone Guild and a board member of OneGoal, providing scholars the opportunity to attend college. Stephanie is both board member and classroom ambassador for iWRITE, a writing literacy organization.
