ABOUT THE EVENT:

The Sister Cities of Houston Soccer Tournament will hold its inaugural event this coming October 21 & 22. A great opportunity to come together for a fun outing with representatives of the international communities in Houston. The World Affairs Council of Greater Houston’s Global Young Professionals were personally invited to field a team for the tournament alongside other sister-city associations and friends.

With registration, you will receive a jersey for yours to keep as well as an additional gift from WAC.

When: October 21 & 22, 2023
Where: Turquoise Center, 9301 West Belfort Ave., Houston TX 77031
Details: Teams will consist of 10 players. 6 will be fielded including 1 goalkeeper. 4 substitutes.*

Teams will play 4-5 games that will be 30 minutes long with two 15-minute halves.

*Note that we will only be able to field 2 players under the age of 30. First come-first served. So, if you were born after 10/22/1994, spots are limited.

If interested in watching, supporting & cheering on the GYP and other teams, you are more than welcome to attend.
