About The Event

Treat yourself with an evening of exquisite French cuisine, enticing conversation and sparkling beverages as we discuss our spring visit to Paris.

Shawn Virene, the owner and the former managing partner at Brasserie 19, will stop by and share his passion for the French cuisine and tell us the story of how a’Bouzy came about.

The restaurant, pronounced “ah-boozy,” is described as a “champagne-fueled” restaurant, and serves up a seasonally-rotating menu of salads, Prime cuts of meat, and bivalves from a large raw bar.

The food menu has been created to complement wine and champagne. It is heavy on starter dishes such as mushrooms marinated in black truffle oil, watermelon sashimi with spicy soy caviar, steak tartare with Dijon mustard and quail egg.

About The Trip

‘I love Paris in the springtime,’ sang Ella Fitzgerald. ‘I love Paris in the fall…’ The city that inspired thousands of books and movies may be a treat in any season, but when the winter clouds lift and spring has truly sprung, it’s hard to beat the sun-kissed Paris that brings the beau monde to pavement cafés, fills gardens with picnicking families and sees an enthusiastic blossoming of exhibition openings and music festivals. Watch the world go by over un café (a coffee) or early evening apéro (pre-meal drink) on one of the city’s zillions of cafe pavement terraces – there is no finer time of year to indulge in Parisian cafe culture than spring as outdoor heaters are put away and tables multiply.
