About The Trip

Following a recent shift in power, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is an intriguing nation to watch. This young country has both a rich history as the birthplace of Islam and a modern presence with rich oil reserves. With the introduction of Vision 2030, an attempt to diversify its economy, this once forbidden land is ready to welcome visitors. On September 27th, 2019, Saudi Arabia officially opened the kingdom to international tourists for the first time in its history. The Council is thrilled to be on the forefront of this development and looks forward to exploring all the Kingdom has to offer! This trip to the Middle East is not complete without a visit to the alluring city of Dubai and a drive along King Fahd’s Causeway to Bahrain, a small yet bustling nation.
