Young Professionals – Energy Hall Tour & Networking at Hotel ZaZa
About The Event
Enjoy a private tour of the most contemporary, comprehensive and technologically advanced exhibition on the science and technology of energy anywhere in the world. Following the tour, the Young Professionals Group will meet at The Monarch Bar at Hotel ZaZa.
Even if you work in the energy business, there may be different aspects of the industry that you might want to learn more about. The Houston Museum of Natural Science Weiss Energy Hall recently re-opened after a $40 Million campaign and huge expansion to almost quadruple its size to 30,000 square feet. Upon entering the hall, visitors step off of the elevator into a dynamic floor of a 21st century offshore drilling rig populated by a motley crew of robots. The tour includes: the completely reinvented Geovator; ‘Energy City’ a 2,500-square-foot 3-D landscape representing Houston and Southeast Texas which brings to life the energy value chain; and the Eagle Ford Shale Experience. The tour also entails a detailed exploration of solar, wind and other renewable energy sources.
Immediately after the tour is over, the Young Professionals Group will walk (or drive if you prefer) two blocks to Hotel ZaZa. We will meet in the hotel bar, The Monarch, which is located at:
