Educator Study Tour Recap:
Montreal & Quebec City
We are excited to welcome our educators back from their tour of our French-speaking neighbors to the north in Montreal and Quebec City!
While in Canada, 7 Council educators participated in a school tour of Montreal’s St. George’s School and learned about the structure of Quebec Province’s educational system. They also had the opportunity to visit numerous historical sites, museums, and landmarks including: Notre Dame Basilica, Chateau Ramezay, St. Joseph’s Oratory, the Olympic Stadium and Tower, the town of Trois-Rivières, and the Musée National des Beaux-Art of Quebec. Teachers will be bringing knowledge from this tour back to their classrooms for the 2018-2019 school year to enhance their students’ grasp of international affairs!
