Cyndi Hunter, Director, Global Accounts for United Airlines leads an experienced sales team responsible for a portfolio of over $930M in annual joint venture revenue. Her current team’s portfolio is primary focused on the energy sector, but she also has key customers in aerospace, defense and technology industries.
Previously, in her 26-year tenure at Continental Airlines, Cyndi held diverse positions in sales, marketing and alliance/ corporate development. She served as co-chair for the GBTA Aviation Committee for many years and also completed the core Global Leadership Program (GLP) requirements in conjunction with the Wharton School of Business. Currently, Cyndi is the Houston Chapter Director for uIMPACT, United’s women’s business resource group.
Prior to joining Continental, Cyndi worked for People Express Airlines and Ketchum Communications. She received a B.A. degree with a double major in Journalism and Business Administration from Indiana University, Bloomington. She has two children, both graduates of University of Texas-Austin and resides in Houston, Texas.
