Every year, the World Affairs Council of Greater Houston has the pleasure of meeting hundreds of students and teachers who engage in our international programming and cultural events. We recognize that our teachers and educational partners are the cornerstone to our programs and promoting a global education to students of all levels and backgrounds. This is why it is so important to honor teachers for all of their hard work, inside and outside of the classroom.
The World Affairs Council invites you to nominate any 9th – 12th grade teacher in the Greater Houston area for a chance to become the World Affairs Council International Teacher of the Year. The International Teacher of the Year will be recognized at the 22nd Annual Jesse H. Jones Award Luncheon on August 13th.
Nominations will be accepted until Friday, July 31st!
